Vintage Trailer Rally!

It was a rare non-picking Saturday, but we went to nearby Tybee Island for a wonderful display of vintage campers. It was a perfect spring day for being outdoors and all of the campers were tricked out with vintage themes inside and out. The Tybee Campground made a natural spot for a rally (actually a fundraiser for several charities) and everyone there was really a happy camper!

Dogs were welcome and several campers had Scottie themes - we assumed because one of the brands of the "canned hams" was called a Scotty.

There were fabulous vingettes throughout with vintage table settings!
Original light fixtures and accessories galore were
a treat for lovers of vintage and retro.

Warmer Weather Means More Picking!

The 67 Antique Outdoor Market is in Statesboro, GA - only 45 minutes up the road from Savannah.

Here's a vintage treasure we admired in the parking lot.

Who knew Ronald McD would be selling Atlanta Braves shirts?

I have always wanted a sign with Elsie's smiling face!

As many picking trips we have made over the last few years, we had
never seen a Ferris wheel for sale before.

Statesboro is home to the Georgia Southern University
Eagles.

Lots of metal kettles. Glad we don't have to heat laundry in
them over a fire.

This is Redneck intelligence at it's finest. This Weather Rope is genius.
Wet = Raining
Moving = Windy
White = Snowing
Gone = Take Shelter

 This booth had the best displays.

I love to see things recycled, but a wooden seat from an outhouse?

My favorite pick of the day was this vintage carved bunny pencil sharpener.
